A couple of issues ago we announced the expansion
of TechLearn and its new name, Workforce Performance 2006. This exciting
news means additional content, education and community-building opportunities
through the event as well as the newsline website.
The Workforce Performance Conference and Exhibit Showcase, to take place September 10 to 13 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, is the result of research and input from the learning and training community, including the TechLearn conference executive advisory board. We know that enterprise performance hinges on a variety of complex and interrelated factors. Among the most critical is the ability of the workforce to understand and achieve corporate objectives. Responsibility for achieving that alignment is falling to the HR, learning and organizational development teams.
Workforce Performance 2006 reflects this shift and arms professionals within those disciplines with the technological- and process-related tools needed to link human and enterprise performance. The event—and this website—will bring together senior corporate management, HR executives, learning and training professionals, and organizational development experts to explore how to maximize workforce efficiency, productivity and profitability.
