Competency-based Performance Management

OTTAWA --Feb. 24, 2006--Workstream Inc. has unveiled Workstream Performance 6.0, available either as part of the Workstream TalentCenter suite or as a stand-alone solution.

Version 6.0 includes such features as the ability to track employee performance against organizational goals and the use of multiple types of employee appraisals.

“Companies historically have supplemented their administrative HR applications (personnel, payroll and benefits) with niche talent management applications. They want fewer, more-integrated solutions to support more strategic human capital management,” said Jim Holincheck, vice president at research concern Gartner Group.

Version 6.0 permits HR administrators, managers and employees to synchronize performance management processes via configurable interface. It can be integrated with major ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle-PeopleSoft.

Features include the following:

  • Integrated competency library of 9,000 technical competencies.
  • Common job profiles: more than 500 roles and 100 common job profiles.
  • Multi-language support, including both Latin-based and Asian character sets.
  • Goals management for employee and group performance against qualitative and quantitative goals. Connects individual behavior to cascaded organizational goals.
