Workstream Launches Development 6.0

OTTAWA , ON -- March 2, 2006 -- Workforce management software maker Workstream Inc. has released Workstream Development 6.0, the newest addition to the Workstream TalentCenter suite. Version 6.0 gives HR organizations tools to retain employees and develop the workforce, the company said.

Components include a succession planning product, organizational charting and the ability for employees to create and manage development plans. Users have access to more than 10,000 pre-packaged career development courses, including the entire SkillSoft e-library.

The Workstream Competency Dictionary contains more than 9,000 technical competencies. Once training is completed, employee profiles are automatically updated, the company said.

Workstream Development can be integrated with major ERP systems including SAP and Oracle-PeopleSoft.
