Makau Announces LMS Upgrade
OREM , Utah -- March 1, 2006 -- Makau Corporation has released Learning Management System 3.0.
Version 3.0 includes partitions, LDAP options page, set passing score, student test access, large report handler, reporting administrator, class registration codes, improved options functionality, session variables replaced with cookies, and improved course tracking.
Administrators can manage course assignments and access reports. Similarly, students can see which courses they have taken or are required to take and work through them at their own pace. The company said the LMS helps users with the following:
- Eliminate redundant data entry by loading student information from an employee database
- Manage different types of users and different departments by setting up classes with different course offerings and different class administrators
- Track usage by class, student, or course
- Stay current by adding new courses and course updates.
