Studyloft.com Launches Test “Panic Button”
CHICAGO--March 7, 2006--With midterm exams accounting for half the grade in many college classes, studyloft.com -- an online tutoring service – said it has created a "panic button" for users nationwide during “one of the most stressful times of year.”
Studyloft.com said it is offering additional eTutors for students to help them with midterm tests.
Bikram Roy, principal at studyloft.com, said, "Midterms are a time of high stress for students everywhere. Studying with a tutor, and receiving individual attention, is essential to thoroughly understanding the material and doing well on the exam."
Studyloft.com offers tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Statistics, Economics, and Accounting. The company also offers two services: ChalkTalk (one-on-one tutoring) and HomeworkHelp (step-by-step instructions to solve difficult problem sets).
The company said that more than 4,800 students have accessed the one-on-one tutoring since its launch in November 2005.
