WebJunction Forms E-Learning Advisory Committee
DUBLIN , OH--Mar 28, 2006--WebJunction, an online community dedicated library management and computing, has named members of its E-Learning Advisory Committee. Committee members will meet three times each year to provide guidance on WebJunction's learning programs and services. These programs include online courses and education, just-in-time tools for library tasks, competency-based assessments, tailored learning plans, and solutions for e-learning providers, according to an announcement.
Committee members include Mike Crandall, senior lecturer, University of Washington; Sari Feldman, executive director, Cuyahoga County Public Library; Kara Hannigan, associate program officer, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Dottie Hiebing, executive director, NY METRO; Holly Hinman, project coordinator, InfoPeople; Bonnie Juergens, executive director, Amigos Library Services; Marilyn Mason, executive director, WebJunction; Karen Strege, project director, Western Council of State Libraries; Phil Turner, vice provost for learning enhancement, University of North Texas; and Mary Wegner, state librarian, State Library of Iowa.
