PCS LabMentors Unveils New Windows E-Lab Client

BOISE, Idaho—April 12, 2006--PCS LabMentors LTD., a division of PCS Edventures, has announced the release of its windows e-lab client. The technology is available to any student using the PCS LabMentors service and is bundled with the new PCS LabMentors Update Manager, which updates the program when a security or service update is released.

The e-lab client provides session shadowing, whereby an instructor can monitor, and if needed, take control of students lab sessions to guide them through a computer lab activity, according to the announcement.

PCS LabMentors said it designs virtual lab frameworks offering schools a virtual e-learning environment that includes computer-based learning labs focused around IT certifications and training curriculum. These solutions are presented either as a hosted ASP or as a licensed framework that can be purchased outright. Customers include DeVry University, Course Technology and community colleges and private technical schools.
