GeoMaestro LMS Suite to Power Vertical University

 WEST DES MOINES, Iowa—April 18, 2006— GeoLearning Inc. has announced that Vertical Communications, a provider of IP-based phone systems and applications, has selected the GeoMaestro Learning Management Suite for the hundreds of business partners that sell, install and support Vertical’s products and solutions. Vertical University will provide partners with access to information, courses and learning resources on Vertical products, related technologies and other subjects of interest, the announcement said.

“Vertical University is designed to provide next-generation training and certification services to our business partners, in a format that respects their time and business needs,” said Anne Brames, vice president for SMB customer support at Vertical.

Vertical University allows partners to select from self-paced e-learning courses, as well as webinars and live instructor-led courses. These courses include basic foundational instruction on Vertical products, as well as advanced information on such industry topics as VoIP and call center queues. Partners can also login to review course offerings, register for online courses, take certification exams, view their transcript, access bulletin boards and calendars, and connect to reference tools and materials.
