Maximize Return on Corporate Training

TAMPA , Fla.--April 24, 2006--Bisk Education's University Alliance Online division said it has partnered with the ROI Institute to provide a new online ROI methodology program and industry certification. Classes begin May 1, 2006.

The online master certificate program is based on the Phillips ROI Methodology, a step-by-step system for program evaluation that includes planning, data collection, data analysis and reporting, the company said in an announcement. This program, developed by Drs. Jack and Patti Phillips, helps HR and training managers justify business decisions by measuring the return on investment in programs, processes and initiatives.

The online program is made up of three eight-week certificate courses, in a step-by-step progression that culminates with a master certificate and CRP (Certified ROI Professional) designation by the ROI Institute, the global certifying body. The courses -- Essentials of ROI Methodology, Mastering ROI Data Collection and Advanced ROI Analysis and Reporting -- contain streaming video presentations, independent exercises and exams. With each course, students will apply new skills to an actual project.

Accountability for measuring HR and training performance is increasingly important to many businesses today, noted Debi Wallace, Research Practice Leader and Vice President of Advanced Analytics at Wachovia Corporation. "The ROI process has become the cornerstone of organizational assessment, measurement and evaluation strategies," she said.

The Phillips ROI Methodology is recommended by the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) for its ROI workshops.
