EduNeering Provides Fail-Safe Customer Service With Redundant Network
PRINCETON , N.J.—May 3, 2006—AT&T Inc. has announced a three-year contract extension to provide dedicated, redundant high-speed Internet circuits to EduNeering, a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Company with multiple locations in the U.S. and the UK.
EduNeering, by integrating business, learning and technology expertise, delivers Internet-deployed training programs to corporate and government clients in the life sciences, healthcare, energy and industrial sectors, according to the announcement. Custom training programs are delivered through the company's online data center, which is backed by AT&T's network of DS3 circuits. The circuits allow EduNeering to deliver high-bandwidth solutions to its clients without the risk of service interruption, the announcement said.
“As an application service provider, we are dedicated to providing reliable service to our clients—no matter what time of day or from what location,” said Donald A. Deieso, president and chief executive at EduNeering.
The EduNeering data center delivers "5 nines" reliability (99.999%), even during such disaster-recovery events as last year's Hurricane Rita, when all network equipment was successfully moved to and from the company's back-up facility.
