SYS Technologies Awarded $1.6 Million IT Training Contract

SAN DIEGO—May 2, 2006—SYS Technologies, a provider of information connectivity solutions, has been awarded $450,000 out of an eventual $1.6 million to develop interactive e-learning courseware for the Navy’s Center for Information Dominance (CID).

CID is the Navy’s Center of Excellence for the training and development of the Information Systems Technology and Information Warfare workforce. This initial task represents additional support that SYS will provide to CID, following the establishment of an apprentice-level IT training strategy that will provide the foundation for all follow-on IT training.

“This new business opportunity provides an excellent example of the synergies brought to SYS by the acquisition of Antin Engineering and Web Technologies,” said Cliff Cooke, chief executive at SYS. Web Technologies’ experience is in interactive, web-based training content development, and Antin’s experience is in instructional systems design and Navy training requirements.
