Audio and Video Conferencing Solution Upgraded
ATLANTA —May 2, 2006—Arel Communications and Software has unveiled enhancements its video and audio conferencing and collaboration solution, Arel Anyware. The enhanced version is a hybrid solution that can now be accessed from Microsoft platforms, Arel said in an announcement.
Enhancements include integration with Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 and Microsoft Office Communicator, a webinar module, public telephone network integration, and improved firewall and encryption.
The solution provides high-quality multi-point video and wideband audio capabilities in conjunction with such real-time collaboration platforms as Microsoft Office Live Meeting. By adapting to low-bandwidth Internet connections, Anyware can simultaneously retain 16 video windows in one session at any bandwidth threshold, the announcement said. It is also said work in secure corporate network environments or over the Internet.
Anyware can be seamlessly integrated with Live Communications Server and Communicator, enabling participants to launch a video and audio-enabled session from a Communicator conversation window and to start communicating and collaborating in real time, according to the anouncement.
The solution is available for purchase in on-premise or hosted configurations.
