Indus Announces Real-time Performance
Management
NEW YORK—May 10, 2006—Indus International
Inc. is now offering its Real-time Performance Management (RPM) warehouse
and business intelligence solution, intended to help users improve
their asset, field service, and customer service operations.
“We’ve found that at least one-third of organizations are
not measuring their performance at all,” said Mark Vigoroso, chief
research officer and service director for service chain management research
at Aberdeen Group, in an Indus announcement. “To be best-in-class,
organizations must systematically track both operational and customer-facing
metrics, including worker productivity, SLA compliance, first-time
resolution rate, and other key performance indicators.”
According to the announcement, the software
enables users to create customized views of their organization, depending
on their role within the organization. It also features a toolset comprising
prepackaged goals, strategy maps, metrics, dashboards, and reports
culled from Business Objects and Informatica. RPM is integrated with
Indus’s Service
Suite, Asset Suite, and Customer Suite products; it also can coexist
or be integrated with other data warehouse and business intelligence
products.
In conjunction with the RPM announcement, Indus also announced a Process
Improvement Practice intended to help users develop specific business
improvement strategies.
