Enterprise Architecture Software and Modeling Tools Enhance

MALMO, SWEDEN—May 16, 2006—Telelogic has announced new versions of its System Architect enterprise architecture and modeling tools and Synergy/Change enterprise change management tool. Both products are part of the company’s Lifecycle Suite of software, according to a company announcement.

System Architect is intended to enable users to design, visualize, analyze, and publish business models and enterprise architectures that help them understand the relationships among their technology, processes, and data. Version 10.4 includes System Architect/XT, a Web-based addition that reportedly extends real-time access to its live repository to users online, through a central portal. Users can make changes to the repository, and information in the repository is centrally managed. Version 10.4 also includes a new user interface, service-oriented architecture support, and optional integrated support for ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle.

Synergy/Change is intended to provide enterprise-wide lifecycle change control for an organization’s digital assets during the systems and software development lifecycle. Version 4.5 includes features that enable users to manage incidents, problems, and changes in IT Service Management improvement programs, such as ITIL (ISO 20000), according to the announcement.
