Training Program for IP Communications Experts

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—May 24, 2006—Vertical Communications has developed a learning environment aimed at business partners that sell, install, and support the company’s IP-based phone systems and applications.

Vertical University, according to a company announcement, is intended to provide business partners with foundational instruction on Vertical products as well as information on such industry topics such as VoIP and call center queues. It is reportedly built on the e-learning environment from GeoLearning, a provider of managed learning services and hosted learning platforms. Users can select from Web-based self-paced courses, as well as Webinars and live instructor-led courses. Partners can log in to review course offerings, register for online courses, take certification exams, view transcripts, access bulletin boards and calendars, and connect to reference tools and materials.
