Online Meeting System Update Permits CRM Integration

SAN FRANCISCO—May 24, 2006—Convoq Inc. has announced version 3.0 of its SellASAP for AppExchange Flash-based online meeting system. According to the announcement, the system is intended to enable sales representatives to meet online with prospects, clients, and internal resources, while automatically logging and reporting on these events within the Salesforce customer relationship management system. It also gives sales managers real-time visibility into team activities, providing a dashboard that updates online meeting activity, and transcripts of sales meetings for training purposes.

With the software, users can reportedly launch online meetings with rich media capabilities including text chat, VoIP audio, video, screen sharing, and PowerPoint presentations. According to the announcement, version 3.0 provides in-page graphical presence in Salesforce, hosting and playback of recorded meetings, Microsoft Outlook integration, and Skype support.
