Bersin & Associates Announces Call
for Applications for Leaders Program
OAKLAND, Calif.—May 31, 2006—Bersin & Associates
has announced a call for applications for a research-driven recognition
program. The deadline for application submission is August 31, 2006.
According to the announcement, the Bersin & Associates
Learning Leaders Program 2006 will recognize 15 organizations that
have developed and implemented effective, efficient approaches to employee
learning and development resulting in significant business improvement.
Organizations can apply in up to five categories: operational program
excellence, leadership program excellence, initiative excellence, technology
excellence, and organizational management excellence. Each category
will have three divisions based on organization size: global enterprise,
enterprise, and midmarket. A leader will be selected in each division.
“In our many years of research and consulting work, we’ve
seen countless examples of outstanding learning leadership from all types
of organizations,” said Josh Bersin, president. “We’re
very excited to formalize a program that will recognize excellence
and share these case studies and best practices with the broad corporate
training community.”
The announcement stated that Bersin & Associates
will develop a report on best practices, findings, and observations
collected during the evaluation process (all applicants will receive
a complimentary copy), and that other program-related activities will
include a series of follow-on public webinars featuring specific training
topic areas and leaders.
