Global Companies Align Performance and Learning Initiatives
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.—May 31, 2006—Saba
has announced that several organizations of varying sizes, geographies,
and industries have selected its HCM solution to support an integrated
learning and performance management initiative.
According to the announcement, one of the top
25 largest banks in the U.S. will deploy the company’s performance
and learning tools later this year as part of its strategic HCM initiative.
In addition, the announcement stated that a large health insurer in
the U.S. is deploying Performance to manage performance reviews for
15,000 employees; an independent retailer in the UK chose Learning
and Performance to develop the skills of its newly hired employees
in support of its nationwide store expansion program; an insurance
company in Australia recently added Performance to its HCM strategy
to better automate its review process; and a state government authority
in Australia is deploying Learning and Performance across 28 agencies
and shared service providers to manage its learning and performance
initiatives in 2006.
