Benefits Enrollment and Administration Application

OTTAWA—June 1, 2006—Workstream Inc. has announced Benefits Enrollment 6.0. Accessible as a standalone solution or in conjunction with the company’s TalentCenter applications. Benefits Enrollment is intended to let employees and administrators view and change employee benefits online, reportedly reducing employer benefit costs.

With the software, users can view and update company employee benefits programs, as well as make administrative and configuration changes to the system through a nontechnical administrative interface. According to the announcement, the 6.0 release adds several features, including a benefit administration override capability, which enables users to override system settings and accommodate exceptions and unique cases that need to be handled; a benefit administration rate update capability, which enables users to adjust benefit rates utilizing the same interface used to make other system changes; an enrollment history view, which enables users to view, on one page, a history of enrollment changes so that they can track and communicate historical data; and eligibility engine enhancements that provide additional support for geographic- and tenure-based benefit eligibility rules.
