Videoconferencing Codec

RA’ANANA, Israel—June 1, 2006—Emblaze Ltd.’s Group company, Emblaze-VCON, has launched HD600, a videoconferencing codec for integration into custom multimedia room environments.

Intended for use by small to medium-size enterprises, the HD600 reportedly can connect to any monitor available in any environment, and is offered with various static and controllable cameras. According to the announcement, users can control and operate the HD600 through a hand-held remote control, or from another location through a browser-based management program, or through the company’s Media Xchange Manager. If deployed in an MXM-managed network, telephony functions such as Call Transfer and Invite are available.
