Alliance Aims to Accelerate Results
for Performance/Talent Management Initiatives
SAN MATEO, Calif.—June 7, 2006—SuccessFactors Inc. has announced
it will combine its performance and talent management technology with
Development Dimensions International’s competency library, succession
and performance management methodologies, and leadership development
content. The combination is an effort to help customers implement succession
management, performance management, and leadership development systems.
According to the announcement, the SuccessFactors
solution is supported by DDI’s Online Performance and Learning
(OPAL) tool, which includes the competency library. The combined technology
is intended to provide resources that employees can use to enhance
their performance and to receive coaching and guidance on work situations
while developing business competencies.
SuccessFactors’ technology reportedly is available in three offerings:
the Enterprise Edition, which includes solutions for performance management,
goal alignment, succession planning, compensation, and employee surveys;
the Professional Edition, which incorporates best practices from the
company’s 450 customers; and the Manager’s Edition, which
automates the performance review process.
