Product
LOS ANGELES—June 12, 2006—MegaMeeting.com has announced
that it is offering unlimited-seat licensing for its Enterprise private
branded video and web conferencing product. According to the announcement,
the product is intended to enable clients to conduct Web-based meetings
with an unlimited number of employees, prospects, and clients, as well
as to use the private branding aspect to create their own video and
web conferencing offerings to resell into niche markets.
“We are lifting the [seat] limit so our clients can have as many
people as they’d like plugged into their video and web conferences,” said
chief executive Dan Richmond. “We have created a module designed,
maintained, and directed by the client, utilizing the client’s
corporate identity and logo, with all references to MegaMeeting.com
removed.”
According to the announcement, organizations, corporations, and universities
can use the product to conduct Web-based meetings and product demonstrations
with prospects and clients; host company meetings, sales meetings, and
employee training; provide customer support; execute product launches;
and host virtual classrooms. Several clients also reportedly have created
their own private branded virtual communities for online chat rooms,
ISPs, MLM networks, financial transacting, and online auctions, the announcement
added.
