Jobscience Identifies Recruiting Technology Myths

SAN FRANCISCO—June 13, 2006—Now available through Jobscience is Top 5 Recruiting Technology Myths, a whitepaper written for hospital recruiting professionals and executives that outlines myths perpetuated by applicant tracking system (ATS) providers.

“All ATS providers are not the same, nor are their solutions,” said Terry Elliott, Jobscience chief financial officer, in a company announcement. “A lot of the systems we see do as much harm as good. Hospitals that are not using benchmark data and metrics reporting are falling further behind.”

According to the announcement, HR professionals cannot differentiate between ATSs during the selection process, and more than 50% end up dissatisfied. The announcement went on to state that many ATS providers advertise up-to-date technology but few provide upgrades throughout the life of the contract to ensure that their customers are utilizing the best technology to find, hire, and track the best-fitting candidates.
