ToolBook User Conference to Be Held June 19–21
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—June 15, 2006—SumTotal Systems has announced its annual sponsorship of TBCON, an international conference for users of its ToolBook simulation and interactive content authoring solution. TBCON 2006 will run from June 19 through 21 at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colo., and will be hosted by Platte Canyon Multimedia Software, a ToolBook VAR in the U.S. The new e-Learning Authoring Conference will run concurrently and at the same location as TBCON 2006.
This year’s conference reportedly will comprise more than 90 sessions, among them “The Top 10 Blunders in Developing E-Learning,” “Programming 101 for E-Learning Developers,” and “Creating Compliance Training with ToolBook.” The conference also reportedly will feature a management track covering the SCORM e-learning standard, estimating, quality assurance, marketing, and similar topics. In addition, awards will be given for the Best ToolBook Online Training courseware and the Best ToolBook Productivity Tool.
