Arotech Simulation and Training Announces $4.9 Million in Orders

ANN ARBOR, Mich.—June 20, 2006—Arotech Corp. has announced that its Simulation and Training Division has experienced continued successes in each of its main business areas, totaling more than $4.9 million in recent orders.

Comprising FAAC Inc. and IES Interactive Training Inc., the Simulation and Training Division develops, manufactures, and markets multimedia and interactive digital solutions for use-of-force and driver training of military, law enforcement, security, municipal, and private industry personnel.

According to the announcement, IES shipped 14 use-of-force systems to nine different customers, and received recent awards totaling more than $1.47 million for 34 systems from eight customers. In addition, FAAC reportedly received awards totaling more than $1.56 million, exemplified by continuing efforts associated with its weapon employment zone algorithms on board the F-15 and support of a foreign delivery version of the F-16. FAAC also reportedly received more than $1.89 million in awards for driving simulators, including successes resulting from its recent focus on the public safety sector.
