LMS Aimed at Simplifying Training Objectives Achievement
SAN FRANCISCO & WASHINGTON—June 27, 2006—Workplace Answers has announced a version of its Learning Management System (LMS) that provides enhanced reporting capabilities as well as a graphical executive console. With the system, businesses reportedly can view whether they are meeting their training objectives for the entire enterprise, or review data by location, department, operating unit, or any number of other criteria.
According to the announcement, the system’s reporting capabilities enable organizations to delegate training administration to local human resources representatives yet maintain control over the training initiative. In addition, administrators reportedly can compare past and present training objectives and review their completion rates.
“We’ve designed the LMS to meet the needs of organizations with a single location and Fortune 100 companies with multiple locations, business units, and subsidiaries,” explained chief executive Lynn D. Lieber, in the announcement.
The LMS also provides industry updates, newsletters, best practices, and other information that will keep customers up-to-date on the training industry as well as legislative changes, according to the announcement.
