New Version of Contingent Workforce Management Software Debuts
CHICAGO—June 27, 2006—Fieldglass, Inc. has released version 4.1.4 of its InSite contingent workforce management software, which reportedly provides broader functionality addressing the procurement and management of contingent labor and other external services.
According to a recent announcement regarding the release, usability enhancements in InSite 4.1.4 are customer and partner driven and are based on end-user testing and collaboration with client usability teams. Changes include additional configurable business rules, more sophisticated views of data, and an expanded reporting library.
Meanwhile, new prequalification and certification features reportedly enable users to identify and prequalify job seekers prior to creating a job requisition, as well as monitor the status and expiration dates of worker licenses and certifications. According to the announcement, these features are especially helpful in healthcare staffing applications.
“It is not uncommon for hospitals to perform much of the staffing manually. This is both time consuming and costly. InSite automates the on-demand staffing process, permitting hospitals and their suppliers to streamline this task as well as reduce the time needed to complete the task,” said Sean Chou, chief technology officer, in the announcement.
Added features in version 4.1.4 reportedly include support for multiple regional and industry-specific language variances within one organization to ensure that the meaning of labels used across an organization are consistent; the ability to configure unique and targeted messages for the different communities collaborating within InSite; and the ability to create different business rules to support different locales and legal requirements to ensure local government compliance requirements are met.
