Record Month for Arotech IES Division

ANN ARBOR, Mich.—July 6, 2006—Arotech Corp. has announced that its IES division experienced a record month in June with 34 units shipped and $1.8 million in new orders.

IES, along with FAAC Inc., is part of Arotech’s simulation and training division, which develops, manufactures, and markets multimedia and interactive digital solutions for use-of-force and driver training of military, law enforcement, security, municipal, and private industry personnel. The new orders that IES received reportedly include 30 units to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for delivery next quarter. These new orders surpass its prior record of more than $1.47 million in May that IES received for 34 systems from eight customers.

“This record month and other recent orders affirm our dedication to providing simulation-based training products and services to the law enforcement sector,” said Robert McCue, IES director for business development, in the announcement. “We understand the importance of judgmental use-of-force training and the role of IES products in preparing law enforcement personnel to face today’s challenges.” McCue added that the company plans to continue to further IES’s capabilities through the resources now available as part of Arotech’s recently combined FAAC/IES operations.
