ACT Selects LMS for Nationwide Training Centers
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa—July 11, 2006—GeoLearning Inc. has announced that ACT Inc. has selected the GeoMaestro Learning Management Suite to deliver and manage training delivery across 165 ACT locations nationwide.
An Iowa-based nonprofit best known for its workforce development and college entrance exams, ACT reportedly will utilize GeoMaestro to support the ACT Center network—a nationwide workforce training and testing network based primarily at two- and four-year colleges—which delivers computer-based testing and training services to individuals, employers, professional organizations, and educational institutions.
GeoLearning will also provide security, maintenance, and help-desk support services for ACT Center administrators and customers; the agreement also allows the ACT Center network to deliver GeoLearning online courseware, the announcement stated.
