Global Reinsurer Chooses IP Conferencing Software to Unify Employees
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. and LONDON—July 24, 2006—Interwise has announced that global reinsurer Swiss Re has chosen Connect for its corporate-wide Web conferencing technology.
Connect reportedly integrates voice, Web, and video conferencing capabilities to provide companies with unlimited audio conferences, Web meetings, virtual classes, Webcasts, broadcasts, and on-demand recordings. According to the announcement, Swiss Re is geographically dispersed, with approximately 8,800 employees operating from more than 70 offices in 30 countries. The company reportedly is using Connect to unify its remote teams and optimize business processes throughout its global locations, as well as to ensure more secure, consistent, and economical communication and collaboration throughout the company.
