Westinghouse Electric Selects Global Collaboration Solution to Improve Communication

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.—July 24, 2006—Saba has announced that Westinghouse Electric Co. has selected Centra Live for eMeetings to help communicate and share information internally and externally.

With more than 9,000 employees worldwide, Westinghouse provides a range of fuel, products, services, and new nuclear power designs to utilities throughout the world. The company reportedly will use the hosted Centra Live solution to support real-time, global collaboration with its business partners and foster its “ease of doing business” practices as well as other customer intimacy initiatives. Customer intimacy is a major business initiative for Westinghouse, according to the announcement.

Most core functional business areas across the company, including project management, engineering and design, supply chain, and human resources, will use the service to communicate internally and externally, the announcement stated.
