Taiwan Training Center Teaches Configurable Processor Technology

HSINCHU, Taiwan—July 25, 2006—ARC Int’l. has announced it has opened a training center in Hsinchu, where customers and prospects in Greater China learn to develop highly differentiated chips using ARC’s patented configurable products and third-party technologies.

Taught by senior instructors from ARC and partner companies, the courses available at the training center reportedly cover such topics as the use of audio and video algorithms with ARC’s products, and development tools, EDA flows, and operating systems that support ARC’s subsystems and cores. According to the announcement, the courses are based on the company’s ARChitect Processor Configurator training tool.
